Audience Registration

Interested members of the public are welcome to attend the conference as audience. There is no registration fee for the audience. Online registration by 30 November 2018 is required:

Audience are welcome to join the conference lunch and dinner on 7 December 2018. Meal coupons can be purchased from the Conference Secretariat in cash at the registration desk during the conference. Prior registration online is required. Seats are limited and are not guaranteed.

Payment method

Online payment by credit card (Visa/Mastercard/UnionPay) is required upon online registration.

Optional Fieldtrip

There will be an optional fieldtrip in the afternoon of 8 December 2018 (Saturday) to visit Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women—an organization for advocating for zero tolerance of sexual violence through providing community education and providing support service for female victims of sexual violence in Hong Kong. The fieldtrip includes a guided tour to the 480.0 Gender and Art space with exhibitions and activities related to community education and advocacy work of the group.

Transportation from the conference venue to the site is included. The field-trip cost (HK$200, about US$25) is to be paid together with registration fee online.

Child-minding service

As a family-friendly gesture, we will consider providing child-minding service to conference participants who have the need if there is a sufficient demand. Please contact the conference secretariat at genderconference2018@cuhk.edu.hk should you be interested in the service. Please note that the child-minders would be student helpers, not professional care-givers. Children under the age of 4 will not be accepted.
